About Makuhari Tech

Makuhari Tech LLC was founded in January 2020 as a continuation of the sole proprietorship “Makuhari Tech,” which had been operated by its current representative, Yutaka Igarashi, since January 2008.

While our primary focus is on system design and software development across a wide range of IT fields, we have recently dedicated significant effort to energy-saving calculations—part of Japan’s initiatives to combat global warming, led by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) and the Building Research Institute (BRI).

One such project involved developing custom add-ins and macros that enable energy performance simulations by linking BIM (Building Information Modeling) data with the Web API provided by BRI.

In a market where skilled BIM operators are still relatively scarce, our ability to develop add-ins and macros for BIM environments is one of our key strengths.
